From Innovation to Commercial Deployment

Durra is transitioning from award-winning innovation to real-world commercial deployment. The platform is now operating in a commercial agricultural environment where its AI Digital Twin is being evaluated under real production conditions through independent field validation.

Our approach is simple: generate evidence first, then scale.

AI in Action at Commercial Scale

Durra's first commercial deployment is located on a 6-hectare AI demonstration farm and laboratory in Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia, one of the Kingdom's principal agricultural regions.

The site has been established to evaluate Durra's AI Digital Twin under real farming conditions, providing a controlled environment for commercial production, continuous learning, and independent performance validation.

Rather than testing in small research plots, Durra is operating within a commercial production environment designed to generate practical evidence for growers, researchers, and policymakers.

Current Production Cycle

Learning from Every Harvest

The first AI-guided commercial tomato production cycle is currently underway across multiple crop varieties.

Throughout the production cycle, Durra continuously:

Monitors environmental and operational conditions.
Generates and supports operational recommendations.
Records actual outcomes for independent evaluation.
Measures performance across key agricultural and operational metrics.

The results from each completed production cycle contribute to the platform's ongoing development while providing measurable evidence of commercial performance.

Independent Validation

Measuring What Matters

Durra's commercial performance is being evaluated through independently measured A/B field trials that compare AI-guided production with conventional farm management.

The validation programme focuses on measuring:

Irrigation water use
Energy consumption
Fertiliser use
Crop yield
Agricultural water productivity
Economic performance

This evidence-first approach ensures future performance claims are supported by independently verified commercial data rather than internal estimates.

A Phased Deployment Strategy

Durra is following a structured deployment roadmap designed to build confidence through independently validated commercial evidence.

Phase 1

Commercial Demonstration

Commercial deployment and validation in Saudi Arabia through the Al Qassim demonstration farm.

Phase 2

Regional Validation

Expand deployment into hot-humid agricultural environments to validate the platform across different climatic conditions.

Phase 3

Commercial Scale-Up

Broader deployment through growers, research institutions, government programmes, and strategic partners across water-constrained regions.

Our Commitment to Scientific Rigour

Every significant performance claim made by Durra will be supported by independently measured commercial evidence.

This commitment reflects our belief that long-term adoption depends not only on innovation, but also on transparency, credibility, and measurable outcomes.

By combining commercial deployment with independent validation, Durra is building the evidence required to support wider adoption across agriculture.

Looking Ahead

Building the Evidence for Smarter Agriculture

Commercial deployment marks the beginning of Durra's journey, not the end.

As additional production cycles are completed and new commercial deployments begin, the body of independently validated evidence will continue to grow, strengthening confidence in the platform across different agricultural environments.

Every completed validation programme contributes to a stronger foundation for broader commercial adoption.
